What an absolute stunning venue. We got married 29th December 2023 and it was all we could ever have dreamed of. The staff were lovely and accommodating. They made sure everything ran smoothly. Last Saturday my daughter Elena Maybury got married at your beautiful venue. Everybody who attended could not praise the venue, food, organisation and service enough, especially the number of Americans who were in the majority of guests. This included Ashley’s relations who were very impressed.
A special thanks must go to Becci who was responsible for the day and who went above and beyond to make sure the day went like clockwork. What an excellent employee you have in Becci. Ella on the evening shift was also very helpful and could not do enough to help in every area.

The place was stunning, like something out of a fairy tale. The wedding coordinator was super helpful. We had to push our wedding date back a few times due to Covid and family circumstances and the venue was extremely professional and worked with us to make our day happen. At other weddings I've attended the approach to additional needs has been very poor. I wanted to thank the staff at Shustoke Barn for how inclusive of everyone on shift that day. They managed to accommodate three wheelchairs, people with sticks/crutches, and those (least I saw) having seizures.
One thing I particularly wanted to praise the staff about was the seizures. Within a minute of seeing someone having a seizure, they would quietly come to the table and ask if this was typical for said guest or if the needed an ambulance. I personally felt this is a great way of tailoring the reception to the needs of a specific need. Please do say thank you on my behalf.
And the last thing I wanted to celebrate on behalf of your staff who were catering on a set menu. As someone who requires liquid or soft, being provided a bowl if tomato soup then ice cream for pudding. That meant a lot.

We first came to look at the venue the first weekend in January, after getting engaged over Christmas.
It was the first venue we had seen and as we both walked around the venue, we just looked at each other - we knew straight away this was our wedding venue.
We were so right! Right from the beginning the whole team, no matter who you speak to at Shustoke was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. They made you feel like you were the only couple getting married there and it was as special to them as it was for us. Amazing.
The online portal that is used for all messages, documents and payments was so easy to use and made everything effortless.
Being an Event Manager myself my bar was high, but these lot absolutely smashed it!
Then coming to the actual wedding day. The team could not do enough. My now father-in-law spilt his trousers as soon as he got to the venue - Shustoke being the venue they are, got him to take them off and then hand-sowed them for him there and then. What other venue do you know would do that!!!
Everything about the day was perfect, we fell in love with Shustoke in the beginning but seeing it on our wedding day blew our minds!
The food was absolutely beautiful and we had so many comments on how delicious the food was and how nice the staff were.
I also think that everyone came up to me to say that this was one of the nicest venues they have ever seen.
So basically, both Luke and I just want to thank you (and we can't thank you enough) for making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

I couldn't recommend Shustoke Barn highly enough. They pretty much only do weddings, day in, day out and it really shows. The staff know exactly what they are doing and the running of everything is seamless. They do virtually everything for you so it takes the stress out of the whole occasion. I think the only question I got asked from the staff on the day was who I wanted to introduce us.
The venue is beautiful, the food is brilliant and the staff are fantastic. The barn also has the added benefit of really not needing much in terms of decoration. It's not the biggest of venues but I think this actually provides a better wedding. Our dancefloor was packed all night and everyone was mingling. You didn't have groups of people in lots of different rooms like you sometimes get during the evening of some weddings.

A stunning venue in a beautiful location with the kindest of staff and excellent food.

As for the day itself, Emma and Ella couldn't do enough to make our day perfect. They were absolutely exceptional and a real credit to Shustoke Barn. We recently got married at Shustoke Barn and cannot recommend this venue enough. This was the only venue we viewed and knew as soon as we arrived that this was where we wanted to celebrate our wedding. We had a lot of rain on the day, but that didn’t matter because the inside of the venue is beautiful with so much character and incredible attention to detail. The courtyard is lovely and there is a long drive surrounded by fields where we were able to have photos.
The staff are amazing and have been so good at keeping in touch with us and answering any questions we have. A special thank you to Becci and Matt and the rest of the team that worked to make our day so special. You talked us through each step of the day and ensured things went to plan. We didn’t have to think of a thing as everything was taken care of and we could enjoy the day with our guests.
The food was delicious and we have had many guests comment that it is the best food they’ve had at a wedding. We loved that the food was served to the table on big serving platters so guests could take what they wanted.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Shustoke Barn and we could not have asked for a better venue. We had looked at four other venues before Shustoke but we fell in love with here the moment we viewed it. They couldn’t have done more for us! Their booking system is all online and so is their communication system. It’s so easy to get in touch with them and no question or query was ever a hassle for them and they replied very quickly. I stayed at a hotel nearby for the morning of the wedding and as a bit of a control freak, I worried that I wasn’t able to be there on the morning to help set things up. I shouldn’t have worried because they followed every instruction to the finest detail and we were blown away at how perfectly they made our vision come to life. All of our guests said how beautiful the venue was and how attentive the staff were throughout the day. The food was also unbelievable! Thanks to Shustoke we had the best wedding. As soon as we drove into the grounds we knew this is where we wanted to get married.
Everyone who worked there was so friendly. From us just looking around, to booking, to then having meetings and suggesting the feast night (which is amazing by the way..!! Well worth the money)
But honestly all of our guests that travelled from London and Kent and close by absolutely loved the venue and staff.
Everyone was amazing on the day honestly all smiles and Lisa made me laugh when I was hyperventilating like a weirdo before I walked in. Sending the seven bridesmaids in how you did was on point so most of the song was played which I really wanted.
The food was amazing and everyone loved it!
The night manager was awesome as well, he was always super friendly.

I recently got married at Shustoke Barn, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The venue is stunning, with beautiful countryside surroundings and charming rustic decor. We had a winter wedding, and the barn was just perfect - it suited candles wonderfully, creating such a cozy and romantic atmosphere.
The team at Shustoke Barn are always looking for ways to improve their offerings, and we were lucky enough to benefit from the new tables which fitted perfectly with our theme. Even after booking, we were kept informed of anything new right up to the wedding so we could make the most of their constant improvements.
Emma and Megan ran the day/night so smoothly, and Emma even went above and beyond to save the day by performing surgery in the form of a face transplant on our Colin the caterpillar cake after some hiccups! The communication and planning ahead of the event were excellent, which meant we could relax and enjoy the day stress-free. And the food - oh my goodness, it was incredible! It was easily one of the best feasts we've ever had.

From the moment that James and I visited Shustoke Barn, we fell in love with it. Absolutely stunning venue with gorgeous character. I am sure it is as beautiful in the summer, but as our winter wedding venue, it was beautiful. The Christmas tree up, the twinkly lights in the brickwork walls, the cosy underfloor heating.
The team were very responsive with any questions we had throughout. Kasey did an amazing job with the planning and budgeting.
The food on the day was absolutely delicious and so plentiful. We have had so many comments from our guests saying how wonderful the food was. One guest who is vegan said she has unfortunately never enjoyed her meal at a wedding but that her dish was so delicious. Brilliant at catering for allergies also.
Everything went like clockwork and that’s because you get a wedding coordinator on the day. I hadn’t realised this before the day. I can honestly say I have never had such incredible service as that given by Becci on the day. She was there the minute I arrived at the venue to guide me. She made sure my dress train was right before I walked down the aisle, she helped our children with the timing of when they were walking in before me.
It’s a bit clumsy walking around in a wedding dress with a big train and throughout the day I kept leaving my bag and my bridal jacket upstairs/all over the place. Becci seemed to just appear every time I needed them for photos etc. Nothing was too much trouble. She even helped us reload our car the next morning with all the wedding paraphernalia, with a big smile and a hug. She took our day from great to epic.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, both during the day and at night. We opted to have their indoor and outdoor decorations package, which made the venue even more breathtaking. The food is some of the best food we have ever eaten! All of our guests loved the canapés, main meal and evening food. We had a few dietary requirements and the venue were so accommodating - the vegetarian and vegan options are fantastic!
No matter what our query was, Shustoke responded promptly with kindness and expert advice. When searching for our wedding venue, we came across Shustoke first and fell in love with the barns instantly over the internet. Immediately, we booked an appointment to view the barns so that we could book a wedding date. We 100% recommend this place for future wedding couples wishing for a splendid rustic venue with lots of character, as well as, a very friendly, professional, caring team of staff who participated in all aspects of our wedding planning.
We were fortunate enough to have Emma as our day coordinator and Des as our night coordinator on the day of our wedding, both were fantastic and helped with the smooth proceedings of our wedding day. We loved our day so much, we would love to re-live it again.
Our wedding guests have given so many positive compliments about the barns since our wedding, some of which would like to get married here themselves. So hopefully we will return as wedding guests soon! The food was so delicious and the chefs were very accommodating for our guests regarding dietary requirements. Shustoke was the first and only venue we looked at. We completely fell in love the barn, the courtyard and the surrounding scenery.
The booking process was easy and we loved that you didn't have to have the traditional 3 course wedding breakfast, we loved the fact it was all help yourself, we went for the pate, mixed grill and chocolate fondant. Every course was complimented highly by all of our guests, we had two vegans attend our wedding and they praised their meal highly too.
I'd like to give Ellis and Tom a special mention, both were fantastic and always made sure me, my husband and guests either had a drink or some food in their hands. Every question or request I asked, it was done within minutes of me asking.
I cannot count how many people said how beautiful the venue was and how good the food was.

As soon as we walked into Shustoke Barns we instantly knew we had to book this venue and we could not have wished for anywhere more perfect. The staff were incredible. The venue was perfect - small enough that everyone is together and not dotted about all over the place but big enough that you can have a big wedding with outside and indoor space as well as an upstairs area perfect for putting kids entertainment that doesn’t take over the theme of the wedding. “We held our wedding reception at Shustoke Barn in Coleshill after we got married in our family church. I cannot express how amazing the staff were at this venue and how they managed the day. They were always on hand for anything you needed and the food and service was second to none. Everyone has commented on how incredible the venue was and all of them have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! One of the comments in our guest book was ‘that’s how you do a wedding!’. I genuinely believe that was due to Shustoke Barn. An especially big thank you goes out to Tom. He was with us from the planning meeting right through to the day and really helped us to make the reception as amazing as everyone has said it was. These were complimented beautifully with a modern twist of the floor to ceiling glass front and beautiful courtyard. “Selecting our venue was the most difficult part of our planning process. We wanted somewhere that was just the right size, but not big enough for people to wander off and get lost, with beautiful scenery and fun dining options. As soon as we walked into Shustoke, we knew we had found THE venue! We reserved a date straight away after receiving a comprehensive quote that left nothing to the imagination, and I am over the moon to say that the team at Shustoke completely over delivered against all of our expectations. All of the staff we dealt with were extremely accommodating and helpful with queries/ happy to make amendments even when very close to the wedding date. Our guests with food intolerances or allergies were full of praises with regards to how well they were catered for, and we got so many compliments about the food with many guests saying it was the best they had ever had at a wedding. In fact, many people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, which I would have to agree with! The day itself ran like clockwork- our day manager Ellis was extremely well organised while still remaining relaxed meaning the day didn’t feel rigid or structured, which resulted in us not having to worry in the slightest about anything and just being able to enjoy our perfect day. I would really recommend the firepits as an extra- lots of guests enjoyed toasting marshmallows and it really added some extra ambience.

“When we first saw Shustoke, we immediately knew it was the right venue for us. The first thing we were looking for was a space with good beams and exposed brick and, boy, did they deliver. The beauty of the space meant we only needed minimal decor throughout the venue, for both the ceremony and the reception. (We opted for the candlelight package which really brought the venue to life.) One of the easiest things about booking through Shustoke was their quoting system. We got to crunch the numbers for a variety of options, including dates, menu choices, and more. Throughout the process working with the venue, we repeatedly complemented them on their online system that was useful throughout the entire process, including keeping all communication in one handy place. At the wedding itself, our guests were very complimentary of the venue itself, as well as the staff, service, and food. “From the moment we stepped foot in the barn when we came to look around we knew it was the place for us. We cancelled all other viewings and booked it the next day, and we are so so glad we did. Throughout the planning process the staff at Shustoke were always on hand for any questions we had, even when they were such silly ones, responding in a matter of hours and putting our minds at ease. The day was just a dream, I honestly cannot praise the venue enough, it is just beautiful, even with a bit of rain the courtyard and surroundings just look stunning, and our photos have captured this in all its glory. “I would encourage anyone to book their special day at this wonderful venue. The day was perfect from start to finish. The barns are not only beautiful but also the perfect size for an intimate wedding. We had around 70 guest in the day. With around 110 in the evening. The staff we so efficient, we barely noticed they were there. Never did my glass go empty. They couldn’t do enough for us and were very polite when I had a minor bridezilla moment due to my wedding dress getting rather muddy - no fault of the staff of course. The food honestly was delicious and there was so much of it- they definitely don’t scrimp on anything. I’ve been to weddings where the portions aren’t great and you’re left feeling a bit hungry- not at Shustoke. Everyone said how nice the food was. Even the children’s meals were lovely. The evening food went down a treat, we had hot dogs and bacon baps. The sausages were massive and the bacon baps were absolutely loaded with bacon! Correspondence before the big day was excellent. Someone always got back to us very quickly. I also loved how flexible they were, they allowed us to change our minds a million times without getting fed up of us. They were polite, accommodating and professional from booking, right up until after the wedding. At no point did we feel they were trying to upsell us or rip us off. But we both feel, had we paid double the price, it would have been worth every penny. It was everything we dreamed of and more. If you’re considering this place for your wedding- just book it. You will not regret it.

“This venue was the only one we went to visit and we knew it was perfect for us and our taste. Choosing what you would like for your day is so easy and communication with the venue is fantastic. The venue itself is a stunning picturesque building laden with beautiful lights and glass, but is also a great canvas to personalize how you like. As soon as I (bride) arrived I was greeted and directed through what I needed to do, and I was made to feel at ease at all points. The staff guided us both through the day and they prepared the rooms so quickly for us to carry on enjoying ourselves. They have an easy to use quoting system and were clear and flexible on costs, Although we weren’t allocated a designated point of contact from the beginning, it didn’t matter as everyone knew our requirements and understood our booking, thanks to their simple online system. We met them several times before the wedding, including a final planning meeting 6 weeks before where they took us through the day step by step so we knew what to expect. They were very knowledgeable and fully involved, even with the smallest details of the day. “Ever since we saw Shustoke Farm Barns on a list of ‘Top Wedding Venues in Birmingham’ we put it down as our first choice. After we had viewed the venue, we couldn’t say no; we were so impressed by the beautiful surroundings and the spacious barn conversion (we must add that the lighting around the barn and the venue as a background is just perfect for photos!) Throughout the whole planning process, all of the staff - who we communicated with - were pleasant and very helpful. The system they use (My Venue Online) is a useful tool that takes a lot of stress away. We often used the site to ask questions or change details and the staff would always respond and meet our needs quickly. On the day itself, once again the staff were simply wonderful. From holding umbrellas when it rained, to ordering taxis for the majority of guests, to setting out a number of fans when the dance floor got too warm - nothing was a problem (not even setting up our Krispy Kreme Doughnut Tower, which looked particularity challenging). On to the food and drink. Wow! I think every single guest had approached us and commented on how delicious the food was. We were more than impressed by the presentation and how tasty the food was. The bar was open until late -which many of our guests were pleased about. It was well stocked and the drinks were a reasonable price. Overall, we have absolutely no complaints with the staff and this venue and would definitely recommend it! For us it was the perfect place to get married and we hope that we are lucky enough to visit again as day guests so we can enjoy it all over again!

“When we read the reviews for this venue and saw the pictures online we were confident this would be the venue for us. Within 10 minutes of our first viewing it was better than we thought and we’d already decided we were booking. The day itself was an absolute dream. We were both a bag of nerves and full on deer in headlights in the morning, but the staff were just incredible all day with us and our guests. We all knew where to go and when, what was coming up and what would be going on. Seamless organisation, we can’t praise them enough honestly. The venue was just beautiful day and night, our guests complimented it all day as being such a unique and totally awesome building. We chose not to put up any decorations just because the exposed brick, gorgeous oak throughout, candlelight and tiny lights in the ceiling beams were just stunning. FOOD!! Every single person had something to say about the food. “Best food they’ve ever had at a wedding” and our day guests had to have a good breather before even contemplating an evening snack. We had the British Feast with beef and everyone loved that the meat was carved at each table and the large portions of potatoes and veg were put in the middle for you to help yourself. Our guests did find a space eventually and the pizzas provided by Baz & Fred were enjoyed by all.
