CAN WE HAVE A CIVIL WEDDING?

Yes, we are licensed for 130 guests in large oak and stone barn. We also have a charming courtyard with a license for 60 guests, should you wish to hold an open air civil ceremony.

CAN WE HAVE A CHURCH WEDDING?

There are lots of churches local to Healey Barn, so if you choose to get married in a church, you can still use the barn as your venue for your reception, wedding breakfast and evening party.
 

DO YOU OFFER OUTDOOR CEREMONIES?

We have stunning courtyard set in the grounds of Healey Barn with a license for 60 guests, should you wish to hold an open air civil ceremony.
 

WHAT IS YOUR CLOSING TIME?

Friday & Saturday 1am finish
Sunday to Thursday midnight finish (this can be extended to 1am).
 

WHAT IS YOUR DINING CAPACITY?

The Oak Dining Room will accommodate up to 144 people for dinner. 
 

DO YOU HAVE OUTDOOR HEATERS?

We have outdoor fire pits for guests to keep warm (or toast marshmallows).
 

ARE THE BARNS WARM?

We know all too well that the English weather is a bit hit and miss! The barn has advanced underfloor heating, roaring fires and candles for both warmth and atmosphere.
 

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A POWER CUT?

At Healey Barn we have an oil powered generator so if the National Grid goes down we have you covered and the party will go on!
 

DO YOU HAVE ON-SITE ACCOMMODATION?

Healey Hall is located one mile away from the Barn. Healey Hall and its adjoining cottages (Stable Cottage and Coach House) can accommodate up to 34 guests in 17 beautifully interior designed rooms. Please see our Accommodation page for further recommendations. 

WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT MUSIC?

There are several options for music. We have a PA system you are welcome to use for your ceremony music and background music throughout the day – simply plug in your own iPod. We ask that our couples book either a live band or DJ (or both) for the evening reception.
 

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FLOWERS & DECORATIONS?

The barn is yours for the day and you can decorate it as you wish. We have our own decoration packages to get you started, and a list of trusted local suppliers in our Wedding Directory.  
 

CAN WE USE OUR OWN CATERERS? 

The feast is a key element of any special occasion and we are passionate about delivering all our events to an extremely high standard, so we take care of all food and drink in-house. Our excellent team of in-house chefs freshly prepares all food served and you can choose from a range of excellent wine, champagne, beer and spirits. All couples are encouraged to come to one of our Feast Nights, where you can taste our food and see the barn.
 

DO YOU HAVE A WEDDING PLANNING SERVICE?

Helping you plan and organise your day is a key part of what we do. We will support you throughout the planning process and will be there on the day to make sure everything goes smoothly. Our guests are always impressed with the level of service they receive from our on-site teams.
 

CAN WE CHANGE DETAILS AFTER WE HAVE AGREED THE QUOTE AND BOOKED OUR DATE?

This is your day. Whether you pick up the phone or check real-time changes to your initial quote using our intuitive online platform, we are on hand right up until the day itself to help you with anything you want or need. Changes can be made right up until four weeks before your wedding.
 

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY EVENT IS CANCELLED?

On rare occasions a guest will need to cancel their event. We recommend that you get wedding insurance in case of unforeseeable circumstances:
